California’s second Cracker Barrel creates approximately 200 jobs; Ronnie Loy named general manager
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® is proud to announce its newest location in Sacramento, California. Today, Cracker Barrel opens its doors to families in Sacramento to enjoy a restaurant that combines dining and shopping as a seamless experience in a relaxing, comfortable environment. Cracker Barrel will share its popular homestyle Southern cooking and range of quality retail offerings with Sacramento’s families and travelers.
Cracker Barrel's second store in California is part of its plan to deliver the unique experience that has made the brand so beloved across the country to new guests. Cracker Barrel’s new Sacramento location has created approximately 200 full and part-time jobs that will help bring the Cracker Barrel dining and shopping experience to the local community.
“It has been so thrilling to experience how welcoming Sacramento has been with the opening of our second Cracker Barrel in California,” said General Manager Ronnie Loy. “We look forward to returning that support to our new community with our mission of Pleasing People and brand promise to be a home-away-from home where guests are cared for like family.”
At Cracker Barrel, breakfast is available all day with lunch and dinner options beginning at 11 a.m. Cracker Barrel serves homestyle meals prepared from scratch like homemade chicken n’ dumplins, as well as its Wholesome Fixin’s® meals, which are full-flavored options freshly prepared with a lighter twist on guest-favorite dishes.
Each Cracker Barrel location is decorated with authentic artifacts, memorabilia and signage collected by a team of Americana experts. In Sacramento, Cracker Barrel’s new store celebrates the history and culture of the local area through decorative walls that pay homage to Sacramento’s nickname, “River City,” local favorite Mission Orange Soda, and California’s Gold Rush era.
As a part of Cracker Barrel’s mission of Pleasing People, the company is committed to partnering with the Sacramento community by supporting local organizations and worthy charities that support local residents and foster community values. The company is proud to establish a $10,000 endowment to the American River College’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management scholarship program. In addition, the company is also partnering with many local Chambers of Commerce to foster diversity, inclusion and equality.
The Sacramento store will be open Sunday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. PDT, and Friday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. PDT.
