Supporting Military Families

A Military Family eating at Cracker Barrel

A particular group of people who spend significant time away from their loved ones are those who serve our country. That is why $1.00 of the sales price of Scotty McCreery’s new album “Seasons Change” will be donated by Cracker Barrel to Operation Homefront to support military families*.

About Operation Homefront
Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so that they can thrive – not simply struggle to get by – in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Recognized for superior performance by leading independent charity oversight groups, 92 percent of Operation Homefront expenditures go directly to programs that support tens of thousands of military families each year. Operation Homefront provides critical financial assistance, transitional and permanent housing and family support services to prevent short-term needs from turning into chronic, long-term struggles. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the support from thousands of volunteers, Operation Homefront proudly serves America’s military families. For more information, visit

Frequently Asked Questions

Cracker Barrel and representatives for Scotty McCreery will review all submissions. Certain stories might be featured on one or several of their social media channels using information you provide in the text field, and select submissions will be included, in full or in part, in the exclusive music video to “Five More Minutes” that will release on March 15, 2018.

We are looking for clips less than 90 seconds of length that show you engaging with the person you would like to honor with your submission. This is a great opportunity to dig through your old and recent photos and videos to create a compelling video that shows the best side of your relationship with that person.

You may certainly use audio (and as a matter of fact we encourage voiceovers to tell your story). If you do, please make sure your audio track contains no third-party materials (e.g. music), and note that the music video to “Five More Minutes” will not feature any audio from fan submissions. However, fan submissions that are featured on social media will contain the full video and audio tracks. For complete details on submissions, see the Official Rules.

Your submission will need to be in .mp4 video format, but that does not mean that a well-edited compilation of pictures does not make for a compelling submission, so please do go ahead and use your photos.

Cracker Barrel will contact you if it selects your submission for a chance to be included in the final music video. Cracker Barrel will send you required documents to confirm your entry and eligibility. These documents will need to be executed and returned according to Cracker Barrel's instructions.

The song is currently available as a single, but it will also be featured on Scotty McCreery’s upcoming album Seasons Change, which will be released on March 16 nationwide, including all Cracker Barrel stores and online on
