For more than a decade, Country Music artists have helped the CMA Foundation raise more than $21 million to improve and sustain quality music education for children across the country. By creating public awareness for equity in music education and providing the resources needed for every child to participate in music, the artists who work with us send a clear message that children are a priority. Our relationship with celebrities, like all our work, is guided by the mission of the CMA Foundation. The Foundation works with 60+ charitable partners to increase public awareness for equity in and access to music education.
It Starts With M.E. is the next step in spreading our message further and deeper. It’s the CMA Foundation’s cause marketing campaign that builds and sustains the most effective and strategic relationships with consumers and to send one clear, unified message. It Starts With M.E. is intended especially for those personally impacted by music. Participating and personalizing the campaign for each individual participant is key for the campaign’s success. Our goal is to raise awareness and advocate for music education access for every child. And to show people that music is not just a fun elective, it is vital to a well-rounded education that produces well-rounded contributors to society.
