Jimmy Fortune

Jimmy Fortune has established himself as one of the most distinctive tenor singers in country music history. After joining the legendary Statler Brothers in 1982, he wrote and sang lead on many of their biggest hits including “Elizabeth,” “Too Much on My Heart” and “More Than a Name on a Wall.” He was part of the group’s award-winning TNN variety series; and he has released gold and platinum records, won CMA and IBMA Awards and been inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Whether requested by his loyal fans or heralded by fellow artists, Jimmy has become known for his versatility with vocal styles ranging from country and bluegrass to gospel.
