Cracker Barrel for fifth straight year

LEBANON, TN (April 4, 2006) - Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. ("Cracker Barrel") is honored to announce the company has won the Good Sam Club Welcome Mat Award for the fifth consecutive year. The results of the organization’s annual readers poll are in and Cracker Barrel has once again been named the "Most RV-Friendly Sit-Down Restaurant in America."

The Welcome Mat Award recognizes businesses that know how to accommodate recreation vehicle (RV) enthusiasts. Noting that Cracker Barrel features RV parking at many of its locations, President & Chief Operating Officer Cy Taylor says that he believes RV owners know they can depend on Cracker Barrel.

"Cracker Barrel has built its reputation on being a place people can trust for quality food and friendly service," said Taylor. "We see RVs in our parking lots every day and that’s a sign that these valuable guests count on us when it’s time to take a break from the highway. Our employees work hard to create a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere and I believe that’s why the RV community chooses Cracker Barrel."

Cracker Barrel representatives will accept the award on April 7, 2006, during The Rally at the Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Florida. Thousands of RVers will be in Daytona Beach for the annual Good Sam Club member event.
