The Cracker Barrel Foundation Scholarship Program accepts applications annually from January 1st through April 1st. The Foundation is committed to awarding 55 $1,500 scholarships each year to qualified employees or children of employees of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.
The Cracker Barrel Foundation Scholarship was established to assist employees with financial aid for higher education, to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and to contribute indirectly to the support of educational institutions.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Eligible recipients must be high school seniors, college freshman, sophomores, and juniors who are either:
1. The dependent children of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store employees who have completed at least one year of employment as of January 1st of the year in which the scholarship will be awarded, and have worked an average of 20 hours a week during that year.
2. Employees of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store who have completed at least one year of employment as of January 1st of the year in which the scholarship will be awarded, and have worked an average of 20 hours a week during that year.

The selection of winners will be based on a combination of the applicants' high school records, standardized test results, college grades (if any), extracurricular activities, and work experiences.
All applicants will be notified of the results of the competition in May. Winners must enroll in an accredited, not-for-profit college, university, vocational or technical institute as a full-time student in the fall of the same calendar year that the scholarship is awarded.
