Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® likes to use boat motors from about 1915 up through the 1940s to decorate the stores, because they often bring back fond family memories. Most of them are 3 to 12 horsepower engines. You’ll find lots of different manufacturers, including Johnson and Evinrude. A lot of people seem reluctant to part with Grandpa's old outboard motor. It may not run anymore, and is too small to power most of today's boats, but they just prefer to keep it in the garage, anyway. It seems folks think the special memories of fishing or duck hunting trips with Grandpa are worth more than money. Can’t argue with that.
